About Hanne

An examination-led chiropractor.

Chiropractor with more than 20 years of clinical experience — and an approach that begins by understanding the whole person, not just the symptom.

A chiropractor evaluates how the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system work together. When appropriate, gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments are used to restore movement to joints that have become restricted. Restoring normal joint motion may reduce mechanical stress, improve function, and help the nervous system process movement and sensory information more efficiently.

For many people, this means less pain and stiffness. For others, it means moving with greater ease, breathing more freely, sleeping better, recovering faster, or feeling more connected to their own body. Every person is different, and every healing journey is unique.

At State of Spine, treatment is never just about the spine—it is about the person connected to it.

I believe that health is not simply the absence of pain, but the presence of adaptability, resilience, and vitality. My role is not to heal you. Your body already possesses remarkable healing capabilities. My role is to help create the conditions in which your body can express that potential more effectively.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, I combine precise chiropractic care with a holistic understanding of movement, breathing, posture, and the body’s innate ability to adapt. Every treatment is tailored to the individual, because no two nervous systems—or life stories—are the same.

Why choose chiropractic?

People seek chiropractic care for many reasons, including:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Joint pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Pregnancy-related discomfort
  • Postural strain
  • Recovery after physical stress
  • Improving movement and physical performance
  • Supporting long-term spinal health

Research supports chiropractic care, particularly spinal manipulation, as an effective treatment option for many common musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain and certain types of neck pain. It is also valued by many patients as part of a broader approach to maintaining mobility and function.

Why choose State of Spine?

Because every adjustment begins with listening. Because your story matters as much as your symptoms. Because true healthcare is built on trust, knowledge, precision, and compassion.

My goal is not simply to help you feel better today, but to help you understand your body, move with confidence, and build a foundation for long-term health. When your spine moves well, your body has greater freedom to do what it was designed to do.

Background & credentials

I am a chiropractor and I see patients at Engelbrektsgatan 41 in Stockholm. I work in an evidence-based way and always begin with a case history and a clinical examination, including an orthopaedic and neurological assessment, before any treatment begins.

I have completed a five-year accredited chiropractic education, and the chiropractor title is licensed by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).

I care for a broad range of patients:

  • Pregnant women — pelvic and lower back complaints during and after pregnancy
  • Infants
  • Athletes, at both elite and recreational level
  • Older patients and people with reduced function
  • Patients of all ages with musculoskeletal complaints

Special expertise: the Intervention Method

I am a specialist in the Intervention Method (Interventionsmetoden) — a gentle rehabilitation technique used for spasticity after cerebral palsy (CP), multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke and acquired brain injury, as well as neurologically based increased muscle tone, for example with Parkinson’s disease. In addition to my clinical work, I have worked as an educator and method specialist in this field.
