Before your visit

How a visit works.

Structured and clear — from booking and clinical examination to treatment and follow-up.

1

Book online

Choose a time that suits you, around the clock. You receive a confirmation straight away.

2

Review

Case history and clinical examination — an orthopaedic and neurological assessment to locate the cause.

3

Treatment

Treatment tailored to the examination findings — often specific joint adjustments combined with soft-tissue treatment.

4

Exercise & follow-up

You receive an individual exercise programme and a plan to help prevent recurrences.

Good to know

A visit always begins with a case history — your complaints, your history and what you would like help with — followed by a clinical examination with an orthopaedic and neurological assessment. Only then is any treatment planned, tailored to the examination findings.

Please bring

  • Relevant information about your complaint and when it started
  • Any previous examinations or reports relating to the complaint
  • Comfortable clothes that are easy to move in

After the visit

You often leave with an individually adapted exercise programme and advice for everyday life. Where needed, follow-up visits are planned to review your complaints and exercises.

For acute or serious symptoms — a marked effect on strength or sensation, or complaints after an accident — contact 1177 or 112. This page is general information and not medical advice.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions before your visit

Do I need a referral?

No, you book an appointment directly without a referral. Booking is online around the clock at boka.stateofspine.se; weekend times are booked by phone or text.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes that are easy to move in work well. The examination may involve assessing your mobility, so clothing you can move freely in makes things easier.

How long does a visit take?

A first visit includes a case history, clinical examination and treatment, and therefore takes a little longer than a follow-up visit. You receive information about the format when you book and on arrival.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. Booking, cancellation and rescheduling are handled through the booking system at boka.stateofspine.se or by phone/text on 0736 555 318.

Acute locked back or stiff neck?

Don’t wait — call and we’ll find a time for you as soon as possible.
